Third Foot and Mouth Disease Case in Lesvos

A third case of foot and mouth disease has been detected in a breeding unit in the Pelopi area of Lesvos. The unit, which is located within the protection zone, houses approximately 300-350 animals.

The director of the Veterinary Service of Lesvos stated that this development is considered "normal". It is recalled that another case was detected in the same area on 22/3.
