Volos: Bus Overturns While Trying to Avoid Dog – Injuries Reported

A bus carrying approximately 30 women overturned in Rizomylos, Volos, on Saturday afternoon. According to eyewitness accounts, the driver attempted to avoid a dog, causing the vehicle to swerve off the road and overturn.
Twelve of the passengers were taken to the hospital in Volos with minor injuries and contusions. All underwent CT scans. The women were traveling to a monastery in Kanalia, Magnesia.
According to gegonota.news, the passengers called 112 for assistance. "We lost sight of everything," one passenger reported, describing the driver's maneuvers and the ensuing panic.
The bus driver was initially arrested but later released. According to the owner of the tour agency, the bus had been purchased about a month ago and meets all safety standards.
Police forces, three fire trucks, and four ambulances rushed to the scene.
