Infant Suffers Burns from Oil in Larissa – Hospitalized in ICU

A 15-month-old boy is hospitalized in stable condition in the ICU of the University Hospital of Larissa, after suffering severe burns from hot oil.
According to the child's grandmother, the accident occurred when the mother was cooking and the child approached the pan. "My daughter's house is small, it has an open-plan living room and kitchen. The child was in the living room with the older one. She was frying, took the pan off the heat, put it aside and changed the baby. By the time she took the diaper out with the garbage, he reached the pan in no time," the grandmother told Star.
The infant's grandfather added that the child is in stable condition, according to ICU doctors.
