Halkidiki: 4-Year-Old Boy Nearly Drowns – Father Arrested

A 4-year-old boy from Serbia nearly drowned at Kallithea beach in Halkidiki. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon.

According to the Coast Guard, the child was initially taken to the Kassandra Health Center and then to the General Hospital of Halkidiki for treatment, after receiving first aid from the beach lifeguard.

The boy's father was arrested by the Second Coast Guard Department of Nea Moudania of the Central Port Authority of Thessaloniki for violation of Article 306 of the Penal Code «Exposure».
