Fire in Vari, Attica Under Control

A fire that broke out in dry grass on Athens-Souniou Avenue in Vari, Attica, was quickly brought under control. The fire started around 23:20.

The extinguishing operation involved 40 firefighters with 2 teams of foot patrols from the 1st EMODE, 11 vehicles and volunteers.

Shortly after midnight on Wednesday, the Fire Department announced that the fire was under control.
