Zakynthos: Tourist Dies While Swimming at Navagio Beach

A 57-year-old Polish tourist died while swimming at Navagio beach in Zakynthos. The man arrived at the beach by tourist boat and lost consciousness while swimming.

Bathers pulled him to shore and provided first aid. He was then transported to the General Hospital of Zakynthos "AGIOS DIONYSIOS", where he was pronounced dead.

The Port Authority of Agios Nikolaos Volimon is conducting a preliminary investigation into the incident.
