Antonis Alexandridis: Appointment to Washington Confirmed Despite Rumors

Reliable sources confirm that the appointment of Ambassador Antonis Alexandridis to Washington is valid, despite rumors of its cancellation. Mr. Alexandridis will move from Paris to Washington, replacing Aikaterini Nasika, who is returning to Athens.
Antonis Alexandridis was selected for the position in Washington after the cancellation of the initial appointment of Ioannis Vrailas. Previously, from 2022 to 2025, he was the Greek Ambassador to the UAE.
The next Supreme Civil Service Council is expected to decide who will replace Mr. Alexandridis in Paris.
