Dendias: Parade Showcased Armed Forces' Transition to New Era

The Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, stated that this year's parade in Thessaloniki showcased the first visible sign of the Greek Armed Forces' transition to a new era.
According to Mr. Dendias, for the first time, an innovation unit paraded, embodying the transformation of the Armed Forces into a modern, technologically advanced, and operationally self-sufficient deterrent force.
The Minister emphasized that the parade was not just a parade of morale, but also a parade of innovation, which enhances morale.
Mr. Dendias also mentioned that through new armament programs, unmanned vehicles, and modern technologies, Greece is steadily moving towards a path of reforms that respond to the challenges of the times.
Furthermore, he expressed his pride in the women and men of the Armed Forces, who timelessly defend the National Sovereignty and Sovereign Rights of the country.
In his post on X, Mr. Dendias paid tribute to the Greeks who opposed the fascist and Nazi aggression on October 28th.
