Two Cruise Ship Passenger Deaths in Piraeus and Corfu

Two cruise ship passengers, both British nationals, were found dead in Piraeus and Corfu. Port Authorities are conducting investigations and have ordered autopsies.

In Piraeus, a 77-year-old man was found unconscious in his cabin on a cruise ship flying the flag of Bermuda. Despite the efforts of doctors, he was pronounced dead at a private clinic.

In Corfu, a 61-year-old passenger on a cruise ship flying the flag of Malta died during the ship's docking in Kusadasi, Turkey on October 1, 2025. His body was transferred to Corfu General Hospital.

The Piraeus and Corfu Port Authorities are conducting preliminary investigations into the incidents.
