Prosecutors Condemn Statements Regarding Tempi Trial

The Hellenic Association of Prosecutors has issued a statement condemning statements made by politicians and those involved in the Tempi train accident trial. The Association emphasizes that such statements undermine confidence in institutions and conceal ulterior motives.

The statement was prompted by statements from the president of Plefsis Eleftherias (Course of Freedom), Zoi Konstantopoulou, regarding the conduct of the trial, which begins on Monday in Larissa.

The Association of Judges and Prosecutors, in a previous statement, had also referred to Zoi Konstantopoulou, accusing her of "paranoid scenarios."

The Prosecutors call on citizens to trust the work of judicial officials.
