OPEKEPE Inquiry: Work to Begin on September 15

The inquiry committee for OPEKEPE will begin its work on September 15, as decided by the Conference of Presidents of the Parliament.

During the meeting, the opposition brought up the issue of the July vote regarding the preliminary investigation into OPEKEPE, questioning its validity due to the large number of postal votes.

PASOK, SYRIZA, and Nea Aristera requested the annulment of the result and the repetition of the vote, a request that was rejected.

The President of the Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis, called on the parties to decide within 30 days regarding the use of postal voting.
