Elena Akrita Ends Dispute with Provolisianos and Vaxevanis

SYRIZA MP Elena Akrita attempts to end the dispute that began with her commentary on a publication by Angelos Provolisianos of the newspaper Documento.

Following public distancing from leading members of her party, as well as the views expressed by Documento publisher Kostas Vaxevanis, Elena Akrita wrote that "just as the journalist judges the politician, so does the politician judge the journalist," adding "I'm ending it here because honestly, we've both become disgusting."

In her post, Akrita states: "Today in my neighborhood cafe someone told me that Vaxevanis is a trigamist... I'm ending it here because honestly, we've both become disgusting. Enough with the self-referentiality, when the world has so many problems. I'm returning to my duties and Vaxevanis can do whatever he wants. We're tired."
