Greece: Authorities on Alert for Storm 'Kristin'

Greek authorities and state services are on alert due to storm 'Kristin'. 112 alerts have been issued in Achaia, Ilia, Messinia, Arcadia, Thessaly, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, and Crete, warning of severe weather phenomena.
Citizens are urged to limit their movements and follow instructions. Yesterday, the Risk Assessment Committee met urgently under the General Secretary of Civil Protection, Nikos Papaefstathiou, with the participation of Minister Giannis Kefalogiannis.
A 'red alert' is in effect for the Peloponnese, Thessaly, Central Macedonia, Pieria, Imathia, Halkidiki, and the North Aegean.
