Famellos: ND Focused on OPEKEPE Theft Instead of Energy Crisis

SYRIZA-PS President Sokratis Famellos accused ND of being "too busy with the theft of farmers' money at OPEKEPE" and failing to take measures for the energy crisis.

Mr. Famellos stated that "this summer, the heatwave has tested everyone's endurance, but what will hurt all citizens is the electricity bill."

He noted that "from 2015 to 2019 under the SYRIZA government, the electricity bill did not increase by even 1 euro," while accusing ND of privatizing DEI and increasing the kilowatt-hour by 50%.

Finally, he mentioned that "DEI had profits of 1.8 billion in 2024, but consumers are not benefiting."
