Famellos: Criticism of Public Health Degradation in Drama

The president of SYRIZA-PS, Sokratis Famellos, criticized the government from Drama regarding the state of the National Health System. During his visit to the city's hospital, Mr. Famellos claimed that the government is degrading public health, resulting in private hospitals being favored.
Mr. Famellos emphasized the staff shortages in clinics such as pathology, radiology, ophthalmology, and urology, leading to the potential closure of these clinics. He also referred to the issue of staff salaries, highlighting the need for increases in doctors' wages, the provision of hazardous and unhealthy allowances to nurses, and the reinstatement of the 13th and 14th salaries.
Mr. Famellos stated that this is part of a plan to degrade public health, which he attributes to Mr. Mitsotakis and Mr. Georgiadis.
