Geraperitis to Fidan: Greece has no phobic syndromes

Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis responded to Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, stressing that Greece has no phobic syndromes and does not accept instructions.

Mr. Gerapetritis stated that good neighborly relations are not promoted by immoderate statements, responding to Mr. Fidan's references to anti-Turkish sentiment in Greece.

Hakan Fidan had claimed that Greece uses Turkey as a 'political aspirin' and that Greek politicians invoke the 'Turkish threat' in times of crisis.
