Karystianou: Post on Greek-Turkish Relations Instead of Live Interview

Maria Karystianou chose to comment on the upcoming meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan via a post, signaling a shift in her political agenda.

Sources believe that Karystianou desires a direct confrontation with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, addressing the Prime Minister personally in her post. The meeting of the two leaders, scheduled for the first half of February, coincides with the announcement of the positions of Karystianou's new party, as announced by her associate, Maria Gratsia.

Center-left executives commented on the change in Karystianou's communication strategy, as she preferred a post instead of a live interview, reminiscent of the "Kasselakis model."

In her post, Karystianou addresses K. Mitsotakis regarding his meeting with R.T. Erdoğan, requesting information on the topics of discussion and the government's positions, emphasizing that national sovereignty is non-negotiable.
