Kasselakis in Patras After Fires – Meetings with Officials

The president of the Democracy Movement, Stefanos Kasselakis, visited Patras on Tuesday, August 19, following the devastating fires in the region. The purpose of the visit was to support the local community.

Mr. Kasselakis met with the president of the Achaia Chamber of Commerce, Theodoros Louloudis, and the president of the Economic Chamber, Giorgos Pappas, as well as members of the boards of directors.

During his previous visit, Mr. Kasselakis stated that "people unrelated to civil protection are placed in critical positions and the results are what we see," emphasizing the need for a radical change in the state apparatus.

He also met with firefighters, whom he called "heroes," and discussed the difficulties they face.
