War Crimes Complaint Filed Against Israeli Officer in Greece

The «Hind Rajab» Foundation, based in Belgium, filed a complaint with the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court on September 3, requesting the arrest of an Israeli major who is in Greece as a tourist. The major is accused of serious war crimes and genocide.

The complaint includes evidence and attributes to him individual criminal responsibility for attacks on schools, homes, hospitals, and the destruction of areas in northern Gaza. According to the Foundation, these actions constitute war crimes under the Rome Statute and the Fourth Geneva Convention.

The «Hind Rajab» Foundation has taken similar actions against Israeli military personnel in other countries. The article also raises the question regarding the handling of war crimes in Cyprus.
