Traffic adjustments will be in effect today in Athens due to the arrival of farmers with tractors for a protest. The Traffic Police will implement the adjustments gradually, depending on the conditions.

The farmers are expected to gather at 16:00 in Syntagma Square. Prior to that, at 13:00, a gathering will be held by labor centers and unions.

The exact traffic regulations have not yet been announced, as information is awaited regarding the route of the tractors from Afidnes to Syntagma Square. The farmers intend to spend the night in Syntagma and depart on Saturday.

The Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) expects the biggest problems at the entrances to the city, on the Athens-Corinth and Athens-Lamia national roads, as well as on Athens Avenue. Impacts are also expected on Stadiou, Panepistimiou, Akadimias, Amalias Avenue and Queen Sofia Avenue.

The EL.AS. spokesperson, Konstantia Dimoglidou, called on drivers to follow the instructions of the traffic police.
