Government: "There is no issue of reshuffle"

The government denies rumors of a reshuffle. According to the Director of the Press Office of the President of the Republic, Mr. Viktoras Papadopoulos, "there is no issue of reshuffle unless the President of the Republic decides and announces his decisions to the Cypriot people."

Mr. Papadopoulos added that the reshuffle is a constitutional right of the President and that "at the moment the President of the Republic has nothing to announce."

Furthermore, regarding the reports on the fires in the Limassol district, Mr. Papadopoulos assured that "they will be released to the public as is, as the President has promised, in the immediate future."

Regarding the alleged disagreements between the Ministers of Finance and Energy on the issue of IPTO, Mr. Papadopoulos stated that "there is no difference... The decision belongs to the Government."
