The government is on alert for potential activist actions during parades across the country. This comes in the wake of the attack on former minister Makis Voridis and his family at a restaurant in Heraklion, Crete, by a group of anarchists.

The attack on M. Voridis sparked strong condemnation from government officials and PASOK, causing concern within the government. Meanwhile, Zoe Konstantopoulou's announcement to participate in the March 25th parade with relatives of the Tempi train accident victims has caused anxiety.

Government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis stressed that the government will not allow anyone to disrupt national holidays. Government officials referred to the 'silent majority' who want effectiveness from the government.

At the same time, the government is monitoring the mobilizations of farmers, who are demanding a solution to the delayed payments. The government is in contact with the Commission to resolve the issue, with the aim of submitting the Greek proposal by November 4 and starting payments by the end of November.
