Loverdos: Joined ND Due to Tempi, Seeking Vote

Andreas Loverdos stated that his decision to join New Democracy (ND) was influenced by the attempted exploitation of the Tempi tragedy.

Speaking on OPEN, Mr. Loverdos emphasized that his motivation stemmed from what he saw regarding the exploitation of the tragedy. He also referred to the Investigative Committee for OPEKEPE, saying that it will be the first issue he will deal with as a member of ND.

Mr. Loverdos mentioned that he will also be involved in the revision of the Constitution, while stating that he will seek a vote in the elections. Regarding PASOK, he said that it has distanced itself from the center and is moving closer to the phraseology of SYRIZA.

Finally, Mr. Loverdos stressed that he does not deviate from his political positions and that ND's goal is the highest possible percentage in the elections.
