Mitsotakis: Special Audit Team for OPEKEPE Established

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the establishment of a special audit team for OPEKEPE, with the participation of executives from the financial police and AADE.
The team's goal is to assign responsibility to those who received unduly paid agricultural subsidies. Mr. Mitsotakis stated that he expects quick results and that the cases will be thoroughly investigated in accordance with domestic and European legislation.
The Prime Minister took responsibility for the situation at OPEKEPE, emphasizing the need to change the state and avoid clientelistic relationships.
He also referred to the positive decisions of the European Council on sovereign rights and immigration, as well as the activation of three new European funds with resources exceeding 8 billion euros.
Finally, he referred to the country's situation 10 years ago, with capital controls and closed banks, emphasizing that Greece will never experience similar adventures again.
