Mitsotakis: Tax Cuts for 4.3 Million Citizens

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, speaking to the parliamentary group of New Democracy, referred to the government's initiatives to support citizens' incomes. He emphasized that the tax cuts, effective from January 1st, concern 4.3 million taxpayers and lead to increases in wages and pensions.
Mr. Mitsotakis also criticized the opposition, accusing it of lacking counter-proposals. He stated that New Democracy promotes patriotic tax cuts, in contrast to others who speak of patriotic taxes.
The Prime Minister referred to the five significant economic and social changes that will determine the course until the 2027 elections, including support for the middle class, tax reductions, reforms, and consolidation of the sense of security.
Additionally, Mr. Mitsotakis reiterated that elections will be held in the spring of 2027 and that the government will not jeopardize the country's fiscal stability.
