Mitsotakis on Kaisariani Photos: "Free and Democratic Greece"

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his pride in acquiring the Hoyer collection, which includes photographic documents from the execution of 200 Greeks in Kaisariani.

In a post, Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized that "the message of the 200 of Kaisariani was one: a free and democratic Greece." He also stated that these are monuments of modern Greek history and that the Ministry of Culture moved quickly to acquire them.

The Prime Minister stated that he felt moved and proud seeing this "precious treasure" and that copies of the photos should be given to the relatives of those executed.
