Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in an interview on SKAI, did not claim responsibility for the OPEKEPE scandal, insisting on the narrative of "chronological" and "cross-party" responsibilities.

Despite admitting that the government did not succeed, he rejected the investigation of criminal responsibilities for former ministers Makis Voridis and Lefteris Avgenakis, saying that "we do not see criminal responsibilities of our ministers."

Mitsotakis argued that the OPEKEPE issue is "chronological, cross-party, political" and that the decision to dissolve OPEKEPE came before the European Prosecutor's Office case.

He reiterated promises to return the stolen money, while rejecting the Pre-Investigation Committee, calling on the parties to participate in the Investigative Committee.

He also attacked PASOK and SYRIZA, saying that they have members involved in the case.

Regarding K. Ach. Karamanlis, he stated that he cannot prejudge the outcome of the criminal proceedings.
