Mitsotakis: Incentives for doctors on small islands

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to a donation from the Stelios Haji-Ioannou Foundation for the financial support of doctors serving on 47 islands with fewer than 4,000 residents.

With this donation, doctors will receive an additional €1,500 per month net. Kyriakos Mitsotakis points out that with this incentive, the residents of the small islands will have a doctor available year-round.

"For me, it is self-evident that no citizen should feel far from the state wherever they live in Greece," noted Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
