Mitsotakis: Greek flag raised on Belharra frigate in Lorient

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stated in Brussels that the heart of Greece beats in Lorient, where the Greek flag is being raised on the Belharra frigate 'Kimon'.

Mitsotakis emphasized that the government supports the Armed Forces, and the frigate is proof that they are entering a new era.

Referring to Ukraine, he reiterated Greece's support and the need for a legally sound solution for its funding. He also noted that the new multiannual financial framework will be discussed, with Greece supporting cohesion policies and the Common Agricultural Policy.

The Prime Minister stressed the need to find a solution for the financing of Ukraine, with Greece preferring a loan of reparations.
