Kostas Bakoyannis accuses Haris Doukas of a "U-turn" regarding the works on Vassilissis Olgas Avenue. The former Mayor of Athens accuses the current mayor of populism and unreliability.

In a Facebook post, Mr. Bakoyannis stated that Mr. Doukas has changed his position countless times on the issue of Vassilissis Olgas, from complete disparagement of the project to its final acceptance.

Bakoyannis argued that Doukas adopted the project, making an impressive "U-turn," but what remains constant is his populism and unreliability.

The former mayor added that if Doukas had shown the same zeal for Athens, things might have been better for the city. He also expressed his satisfaction that a project that was fought against will soon be returned to the citizens.
