N. Tahiaos: Infrastructure Projects in Attica, Thessaloniki, and Thessaly

The Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Nikos Tahiaos, in an interview with ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ, presented the progress of significant infrastructure projects throughout Greece.

In Attica, the Skaramagas triple junction is under construction, aiming to relieve traffic congestion in western Attica. Simultaneously, the upgrade of the Metamorfosi junction is progressing, and solutions for the Ilioupoli urban tunnel are being examined.

In Thessaloniki, the priority is the extension of the Metro towards Kalamaria and the construction of the Flyover to alleviate city congestion.

In Thessaly, restoration projects after the floods are progressing rapidly, with several interventions already completed.

Mr. Tahiaos also referred to the progress of Line 4 of the Athens Metro, noting that the completion of the project will exceed a decade.
