ND, PASOK, Tsipras: Battle for the Center

New Democracy (ND) aims for self-reliance in the upcoming elections, targeting voters from the Center. According to Φώφη Γιωτάκη, ND seeks to put pressure on PASOK and Alexis Tsipras's party in order to win votes from the centrist electorate.

PASOK faces difficulties, as polls show that it is not exercising effective opposition. While holding the position of official opposition, its poll momentum is limited. Tsipras's party, despite not appearing to gather significant support, will also compete for second place.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in a recent interview, linked self-reliance with effectively addressing problems in a period of instability. ND aims to persuade disgruntled voters and approach the centrist space.
