OSE Denies Report of Train on Wrong Track in Larissa

OSE (Hellenic Railways Organisation) categorically denies a report in «Efsyn» newspaper claiming that a train entered the wrong track in Larissa. In a statement, the Organization emphasizes that "No train entered the wrong track. The specific report is false."
At the same time, OSE reminds Hellenic Train and its parent company Ferrovie dello Stato of the obligation to inform passengers in a timely manner in cases of route changes, as stipulated by the European framework and the General Traffic Regulation. "The lack of information, as well as misinformation, as reported by a passenger on the Thessaloniki suburban railway, is unacceptable and undermines the confidence of the public and society," the statement said.
Furthermore, OSE notes that the specific line section in Sindos, as well as 80% of the Athens - Thessaloniki axis, has an installed and functional remote control system.
