Panagiotopoulos: False Ceiling Collapse at 'G. Gennimatas' Hospital

SYRIZA's Shadow Minister of Health, Andreas Panagiotopoulos, commented on the collapse of a section of the false ceiling at 'G. Gennimatas' Hospital, linking the incident to the state of the National Health System (ESY).

According to reports, on August 17th, a section of the ceiling detached in the cardiology nurses' station, narrowly missing a nurse. A. Panagiotopoulos also referred to previous elevator incidents at the same hospital, mentioning three serious incidents in eight days.

He further denounced the punishment of a nurse who had reported an elevator entrapment incident.
