PASOK Positive on Diaspora Vote

PASOK has expressed a positive stance towards the next step in representing Greeks abroad, concerning postal voting in national elections.

Panagiotis Doudonis, head of PASOK's KTΕ for Internal Affairs, stated that the party approached the informal cross-party committee with a positive attitude to contribute to expanding the participation of fellow citizens abroad.

Mr. Doudonis reminded that PASOK established the possibility of representing expatriates through postal voting in the constitutional revision of 2001.

PASOK has set important parameters related to representativeness, transparency, and safeguarding the integrity of the electoral process.

"Our well-documented and responsible stance will lead to a positive outcome for the representation of Greeks abroad," concluded Mr. Doudonis.
