Dimitris Konstantaras Funeral Today

The funeral of journalist, author, and politician Dimitris Konstantaras will be held on Wednesday, August 27, following his death on Sunday, August 24. The funeral service will take place at the Church of Agios Theodoros, at the First Cemetery of Athens.

Dimitris Konstantaras was born in Athens on October 9, 1946. He worked as an editor, columnist, and director in newspapers. In 2002, he was elected Regional Councilor of Attica, and in 2004, a Member of Parliament with New Democracy. Later, he served as a municipal councilor of Athens.

He was married to Vicky Vourlaki and had two children, Pavlina and Lambros Konstantaras.
