St. Papastavrou: "There is no new and old patriotism"

The Minister of Environment and Energy, Stavros Papastavrou, emphasized that there is no "new" and "old" patriotism, but only one true patriotism that puts the homeland and the common good above all else. He stated this during the presentation of the book by Ambassador (ret.) Alexandros P. Mallias entitled "Greece - Albania: Truths and Shadows", organized by AHEPA HELLAS.

Mr. Papastavrou stressed that substantial cooperation between Greece and Albania presupposes respect for the rule of law and the rights of the Greek minority, in order to ensure stability and trust between the two countries.

The MEP of ND and EPP, Freddie Beleris, stated that the struggle for national rights continues with undiminished intensity from the European Parliament and that Albania must commit to European values and principles.
