Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his expectation that his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will take place in the first ten days of February. He clarified, however, that the meeting has not yet been finalized.

Mr. Mitsotakis emphasized that Greece will participate in discussions with Turkey on only one issue: the delimitation of the maritime zone. He also stated that Turkey should refrain from a series of unfounded claims.

Referring to the delivery of the frigate "Kimon" to the Hellenic Navy, the Prime Minister said it was a day of hope and confidence, recalling that it is the first of four Belharra frigates that the country will receive.
