SYRIZA: Protests for Palestine – A Message of Peace

SYRIZA-PS welcomed the solidarity protests for the Palestinian people that took place throughout Greece. According to a statement, the Greek people sent a message of peace, justice, and respect for International Law, despite the "authoritarian practices" and "smear campaign" on the part of ND.

SYRIZA called on the government to respect UN resolutions, work for peace in the region, and recognize the State of Palestine.

With slogans such as "Freedom to Palestine" and "No More Blood in Gaza", demonstrations took place in Athens, Thessaloniki, and other cities, demanding an end to military operations and Greece's disengagement from the conflicts.
