Tasoulas: The patriotism of the heroes of '40 guides us

The President of the Hellenic Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas, referred to the example of the heroes of 1940, emphasizing that their patriotism and self-sacrifice guide Greeks to face the challenges of the times united.

In his statement after the military parade in Thessaloniki for October 28th, Mr. Tasoulas stressed that the epic of '40 and the legendary "NO" are the greatest lesson for the modern era. He referred to the repulsion of fascist Italy and the importance of the unity of Greeks to defend the homeland.

The President stressed the need for a strong, modern and progressive Greece, which will be a pillar of stability and security in the southeastern Mediterranean. He also expressed his respect for the warriors of '40, emphasizing that their example remains alive in the heart of the Greek people.
