Pavlos Aslanidis, father of a victim of the Tempi tragedy, through his lawyer Giannis Mantzouranis, has filed a request to support the allegation of a 'cover-up' at the accident site. The investigation focuses on the potential involvement of former Deputy Minister Christos Triantopoulos.

P. Aslanidis argues that the interventions at the accident site in the critical early hours, before the investigation was completed, caused moral damage to his family. The request was submitted to Supreme Court Judge Foteini Milioni, who is conducting the investigation.

In his request, P. Aslanidis states that the actions of the accused former Deputy Minister intensified the mental anguish and caused damage, as it hindered the search for the truth and removed evidence from the criminal file.

P. Aslanidis points out that the removal of materials and the 'cover-up' with tar and inert materials affected the work of the prosecutor and judicial authority, raising suspicions of concealment of the causes of the tragedy.
