Tempi: Papadimitriou's Testimony on the Fireball Report

The resigned deputy chairman of EODASAA, Christos Papadimitriou, testified to examining magistrate Sotiris Bakaimis regarding the drafting of the report on the Tempi tragedy. The testimony concerns the disputed aspect of the fireball.

Mr. Papadimitriou described the actions that led EODASAA to the conclusion about a 'flammable volatile fuel,' which refuted the initial narrative about silicone oils. The report had been withdrawn and referred for further investigation.

Following the confusion that arose, Mr. Papadimitriou resigned, claiming that EODASAA had produced a complete report, with the exception of the issue of the fireball, which requires further investigation.

The testimony is expected to be forwarded to the prosecutor of the Supreme Court, as the previous prosecutor G. Adilin had requested an investigation into the circumstances of drafting the report.
