Tsipras, Center-Left and Polls: Political Landscape Shifts?

Polls indicate that New Democracy is leading, while PASOK is in second place. The "anti-establishment parties" and KKE together reach or exceed 25%. SYRIZA is on the verge of parliamentary representation ahead of the formation of a party by Alexis Tsipras.

Analysts estimate that fluidity is high and uncertainties are many. No one knows when the elections will be held, while the accuracy, wiretapping scandals, OPEKEPE, the Tempi trial and the effects of the war in Iran will play an important role.

In addition to the parties of Tsipras and Karystianou, possibly also Samaras, SYRIZA will also take part. A joint SYRIZA, New Left and some ecological collective ballot will affect Alexis Tsipras and his effort to win second place.

The big derby will be between Nikos Androulakis and Alexis Tsipras. Whether and who will win second place will depend on who manages to mobilize left-wing voters.
