Tsitsikostas: "There is no room for complacency"

The Chief of the National Guard General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Tsitsikostas, stated that "there is no room for complacency" during the swearing-in ceremony of new recruits at the Kissonerga camp "Christos Kellis" in Paphos.

He referred to the presence of the occupying army and the escalating Turkish provocations, which are affecting Cyprus' vital interests. Lieutenant General Tsitsikostas emphasized the honor and responsibility of the new recruits to join the armed forces.

He pointed out that Cyprus has mental strength, faith, and dedication to duty, with soldiers dedicated to defending their land.
