Haritsis: 'The reactionary agenda knows no borders'

The president of Nea Aristera (New Left), Alexis Haritsis, commented on the statements made by Mrs. Karystianou regarding abortions, emphasizing that 'the reactionary agenda knows no borders.' Mr. Haritsis expressed concern that instead of expanding rights, the questioning of fundamental rights is being brought up again.

In his speech at the party's programmatic conference, Mr. Haritsis also referred to Kyriakos Mitsotakis, while declaring his openness to dialogue with Alexis Tsipras. He stressed the need to create a unifying pole of the Left, warning of the risk of the country synchronizing with a global reactionary regime in the next elections.

Mr. Haritsis emphasized that Nea Aristera's undertaking brought about the defeat of Kasselakism in the Left and gave a breath of dignity to the defeated world of the Left.
