Perama Welcomes Frigate "Kimon": Fishermen and Citizens Prepare

Fishermen and citizens in Perama are preparing to welcome the new frigate "Kimon," the first Belharra of the Hellenic Navy. The frigate has arrived in Greek territorial waters and is expected to be received with honors in the Saronic Gulf, before heading to the Salamis Naval Base.

Giorgos Papastefanou, President of the Perama Amateur Fishermen and Naval Sports Association "Agios Nikolaos," stated that residents have decorated the pier with Greek flags and naval signals. "We are also waiting to see the new frigate, which is very important for our place, for the defense of our country," he emphasized.

Mr. Papastefanou described the preparations of the residents, who want to contribute to the reception in their own way.
