Significant developments in various sectors were presented at the Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The Minister of Education, Sofia Zacharaki, announced the hiring of 10,000 permanent teachers and the modernization of school infrastructure. Licenses for the operation of non-state universities were also approved.

The Minister of Development, Panagiotis Theodorikakos, presented legislative initiatives to boost investment and entrepreneurship, including the abolition of the Industrial Movement Bulletin.

The Minister of Environment and Energy, Stavros Papastavrou, presented the Spatial Planning and Urban Development Code, aiming for simplification and legal certainty.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Georgios Gerapetritis, referred to the preparation for the Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2027.

The Minister of Interior, Theodoros Livanios, presented measures to enhance transparency in political advertising.

The Minister of Culture, Styliani Mendoni, announced legislative measures to combat the forgery of works of art.

Finally, the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Konstantinos Tsiaras, presented a bill on sustainable fisheries, while the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Pavlos Marinakis, presented the bill on the licensing of regional television stations.
