SYRIZA-PS Press Representative, Kostas Zachariadis, launched an attack against Kyriakos Mitsotakis regarding electricity prices and non-state universities.

Regarding energy, Mr. Zachariadis stated that citizens are paying almost double compared to five years ago, accusing the government of a policy favoring energy cartels.

Referring to non-state universities, Mr. Zachariadis commented on the abolition of the public Law School in Patras in 2019, while now three law schools are being established in private universities, questioning whether there is an overpopulation of lawyers only in public schools.

He also criticized the appointment of Mr. Zoras to the private Keele University, speaking of entanglement.

Finally, he commented on the collaborations between Greek public universities and foreign institutions, such as Harvard and Columbia, saying that they existed before and are not related to the legislative intervention of the government.
