Akylas: 'It's a frenzy, I can't go to the supermarket'

The singer Akylas, who will represent Greece at Eurovision 2026 with the song 'Ferto', stated that he finds it difficult to do everyday activities, such as going to the supermarket, due to the increased attention he receives from the public.
In an interview on the show 'Proian se eidon' on March 11, Akylas mentioned that his schedule is full and that interacting with people is enjoyable, but now he needs to be careful about his appearances.
'So many things have happened in the last month that I barely think. [...] I can't go to the supermarket. I don't mind talking to people, it's my pleasure. [...] There are times when I want to go to the supermarket and be however I am in my tracksuit, and now I have to get ready or most likely they will ask me for a photo. I hadn't experienced this before,' he said.
Akylas also spoke about the plans he had with his colleagues after 'Sing for Greece', which were not realized due to his victory, as well as the emotion he felt with the publicity his mother received. He also referred to the performance he is preparing for Eurovision and the criticism he receives.
