Singer Akylas, who will represent Greece at Eurovision, referred to his mother and the difficulties she faced in a post on Instagram.

As he noted, his mother came to Greece from Georgia at the age of 17 with a baby in her arms. "Life was incredibly difficult and money was always tight, but she never gave up. She raised me and my sister and for me she is a true heroine. She taught me the most important lesson: never give up," he wrote.

Akylas dedicated the song "Ferto" to his mother, as he said, it is part of his story and from a young age he was able to understand the sacrifices she and his father made for him.
